«Oi Gipsy Kings ειναι ενα γκρουπ απο την Απλ και το Μονπελιε δηλαδη της Νοτιας Γαλλιας, που ερμηνευουν ισπανικα με μια προφορα Ανδαλουσιας.Παρ οτι ολοι ειναι Γαλλοι, οι γονεις τους ηταν ως επι το πλειστον Gitanoς,δηλαδη Ρομα,προερχομενοι απο το Μαροκο και την Αλγερια Εχουν ενα ιδαιτερο στυλ,Rumba-Flamenco οπως το ονομαζουν με επιρροες ποπ μουσικης.Τα μελη της μπαντας,σημερα,ανηκουν σε δυο οικογενειες,υπαρχουν 5 Reyes και 3 Balliardo.(Οι δυο γιοι του γνωστου καλλιτεχνη του φλαμενκο Jose Reyes βρηκαν τα δυο ξαδελφια τους Balliardo,που ηταν γιοι του επισης κιθαριστα φλαμενκο Manitas de Plata,και συνεργαστηκαν).Στην αρχη δεν πηγαιναν πολυ καλα,αλλα η αναγνωριση ηρθε με το ομοτιτλο αλμπουμ τους του 1989.Στο Savor Flamengo του 2013 η μουσικη τους εχει περιγραφει απο κριτικους σαν κατι "οπου το ισπανικο φλαμενκο και η ραψωδια Ρομα συναντιωνται σε salsa-funk"Αυτο το αλμπουμ κερδισε βραβειο Γκραμμι για το Καλυτερο Μουσικο Αλμπουμ του Κοσμου για το 2013.»

«Really "The Best Of" The Wanted!!!!! What a great album, full of fantastic dance songs and romantic songs as well. So good sung by this Boy Band and what a great orchestration. The sound quality is really SUPER!!!! I think this album is one of very favorites at the moment.»
