Buena versión
«Buena y desconocida versión del Dido Aeneas de Purcell, interpretada a un instrumento por parte, tanto de orquesta como de solistas, con bajo continuo de clave y chitarrone. El hecho de tener sólo un coro de 4 personas (los mismos solistas) sorprende un poco al principio pero el resultado es interesante.»

Recomendable
«Si tuvieramos que comparar esta primera grabación de Harry Christophers del sello Hyperion, con la segunda que realizó para el sello CORO, nos quedamos claramente con la segunda, por ser mucho más madura y elaborada. Además la primera es una grabación en directo y la segunda una grabación de estudio. A pesar de esto, en esta primera grabación el coro tiene una musicalidad increible y hay muy pocas imperfecciones por tratarse de una grabación en directo. El mayor problema es que la orquesta suena pobre, con solamente órgano positivo en el bajo continuo por falta de presupuesto (según palabras de el mismo Harry Christophers en una master class a la que tuve el placer de asistir).»

«Esta es la mejor versión que existe del Samson de Handel. Coro y orquesta son impecables. La dicción inglesa también esta muy cuidada. Muy destacable los papeles de Tomas Randle y Mark Padmore. Sin duda la mejor versión de este oratorio Handeliano.»

Muy bueno
«La mejor integral de la música sacra de Vivaldi es la de Robert King con su King's Consort. Dejando a parte este dato, esta selección de motetes de Vivaldi de Fabio Biondi es exquisita. Muy clara la voz de Patricia Ciofi y la orquesta toca con muy buen gusto e ímpetu. No deja de ser curioso que en uno de los movimientos del Laudate Pueri, Fabio Biondi utilice un sacabuche (trombón barroco) en lugar del cello que indica la partitura. Una extravagancia que Biondi se puede permitir.»

Muy buena versión
«Por si alguien no conocía la sonoridad de la viola d'amore, un instrumento parecido a la viola, pero de 6 cuerdas, aquí tiene la oportunidad de escucharla. Se trata de la integral que Vivaldi escribió para este instrumento, complementada con el más conocido concierto para viola d'amore y laúd RV 540. Fabio Biondi no nos defrauda con su magistral interpretación. En esta versión la orquesta está formada sólo por un instrumento por parte (2 violines, viola, cello, contrabajo, clave/órgano y tiorba).»
